What happens if I've booked my holiday over 12 months in advance?


Your transaction will appear in your dashboard shortly after booking at the value you booked at. Once the transaction passes the 12-month lock-in period & you've been on the holiday, your shares will become available.

What if I choose to pay at property for my hotel/accommodation?


Making a booking & using the pay at property option will not affect your transaction in any way, your Shareback will be calculated on the value at the time of booking.

Will my Shareback be affected if I adjust the dates of my booking?


You can change the dates of your booking and your shares will automatically adjust to the value of your booking (if it changes value).

What if I receive a discount as a 'premium' or 'genius' member?


If you receive a discount or upgrade on the accommodation you've booked, you'll earn Shareback on the value of your booking. The discount applied will not affect your transaction.

Can I earn Shareback on add-ons like travel insurance or rental cars?

What happens if I use room service or buy something from the mini fridge?


You will not earn Shareback on any additional extras that are charged during your stay. You'll only earn Shareback on the value at the time of booking.

When I'm booking multi-destination trips (for example, a tour of Europe), is Shareback calculated separately?


This will vary by retailer, but typically, we'd expect the retailer to track multiple bookings separately.
If you've booked multiple places to stay during your trip, the Shareback technology will track the individual bookings and you'll earn Shareback on each of your individual bookings.
As an example, if you're booking a hotel in Paris, France and then another in Brussels, Belgium for a few days in advance, the Paris booking & the Brussels booking will track separately.

Flights & travel


Will I still earn Shareback on flights booked using Avios Airmiles or other reward programs?


This varies by retailer, please read the important things to know on the retailer page before booking your travel. Discounts & reward points are not supported by WeShop unless explicitly shown in the retailer terms.

What happens to my Shareback if I upgrade my flight after my initial booking?


If you choose to upgrade your seats or in-flight experience (such as in-flight meals) after you've booked, your shares will typically not reflect this change.

Can I earn Shareback on long-term, recurring travel such as season passes or monthly parking?


This varies by retailer, please read the important things to know before making your purchase. Generally, we'd expect retailers to validate transactions based on the value of your basket unless explicitly outlined in the terms.
