How to: Report a post or person

If you've seen something on the platform you don't think is appropriate, we'd be happy to investigate it. WeShop is a platform for everyone. You can report individual posts & comments or accounts.

Reporting a post


Tap the three dot mini menu on the post, next to the author's name.
Tap the 'Flag post' button.
Choose the reason you're reporting the post.
Submit your report, this will then be reviewed by our content team and a decision will be made based on the WeShop Community Guidelines.

Reporting an account


Tap the three dot mini menu on the profile next to the author's name.
Tap the 'Flag person' button.
Choose the reason you're reporting this account.
Submit your report, this account will be reviewed by our content team and a decision will be made based on the WeShop Community Guidelines.

What happens after reporting an issue?


Once we receive your report, our content team will investigate & review the matter in accordance with our WeShop Community Guidelines. We may request further information from both parties to help make a more informed decision.

Depending on the severity of the content, accounts who break the WeShop Community Guidelines may be subject to immediate ban.
