Reset or change your password

Reset your password


If you've forgotten the password to your WeShop account and need to reset your password to access your account, you can do so by following the instructions below.

Open your WeShop app & tap the sign-in button.
Tap 'forgot your password?' under the password text field.
Type in the email address associated with your WeShop account. If you've forgotten or don't have access to the email address associated, you'll need to contact support for assistance.
Tap the 'request reset code' button.
Open your email inbox to find the email containing a unique 6 digit PIN.
Go back to the WeShop app and tap 'next step' to enter your unique 6 digit PIN.
Tap 'confirm code'.
Set your new secure password and retype your new password to make sure you've set your password properly.
Tap the 'confirm new password' button & you'll have changed the password for your WeShop account.
Use your new credentials to sign-in successfully to your WeShop app.

Change your password


If you're signed into your WeShop account already and are just looking to change your password for security reasons, you can do so by following the instructions below.

Open your WeShop profile by tapping the 'Profile' icon on the bottom-right of the WeShop app.
Tap the 'Settings' icon on the top-right of the WeShop app, this will open your app settings.
Tap 'Account Security' to open the 'Manage your credentials' page.
Type in a new secure password, you'll need to make sure the password fits the security requirements.
Type your new password in again, to make sure you've set your password properly.
Tap the 'Change your password' button.
You'll receive an email to the inbox associated with the WeShop account, you'll need to tap the 'confirm change' button to make the change.
If you don't tap the button in the confirmation email, your password will not be changed.
You'll receive a second email from WeShop confirming the change of password, if you receive this email but haven't requested a password change, you must contact support immediately.

Password requirements


Must be a minimum of 8 characters.
Must contain at least 1 lowercase character.
Must contain at least 1 uppercase character.
Must contain at least 1 number.
Must contain at least 1 special character: !"#$%&'()+,-./:;<=>?@[]^_`{|}∼£
