We are constantly reviewing our Community Guidelines to improve the service for everyone, making sure the content is relevant to WeShop & appropriate for everyone to enjoy. We are a community of different age groups, gender identities & nationalities; so please be respectful.

We remove content that contains violence or glorifies violence.
We remove content that contain threats of violence.
We remove content that supports violent organisations.
We remove content that represents a symbol of violence.

We remove content related to any of the following topics:
Hitmen
Mercenaries
Assassins
Accidents
Mutilation
Gore
Dismemberment
Terrorism
Capital punishment
Cannibalism
Kidnappings or abductions
Drug trafficking
Cybercrime
Terrorist organisations
Hate organisations (such as Nazis/white supremacists)

We remove content that illustrate instructions on creating or using weapons (including, but not limited to, the use of 3D printer templates to design weapons).
We remove content that shows graphic content as a result of animal hunting.
We remove content that relates to animal cruelty of any kind.
We remove content that engages in organisations suggesting illegal or dangerous activity.
We remove content that supports dehumanising or advocating for harm against people.
We remove content related to systemic criminal operations.
We remove content that glorifies dangerous organisations, for example, speaking positively about an entity's violence or hate.
We remove content making claims that hateful, violent or criminal conduct is legally, morally or otherwise justified.
We remove content that contains any reference to illegal activity, for example, a post where a controlled drug can be visibly seen in the background.
We remove content related to selling/buying/trading/donating/gifting endangered species of wildlife & plants.
We may review content that depict any form of poaching/animal abuse/destruction of environment (specifically, where the author speaks positively of these activities).
We remove content related to selling/buying/trading/donating/gifting illegal or pharmaceutical drugs (e.g. cocaine, heroin, MDMA, etc.)
We remove content related to selling/buying/trading/donating/gifting bodily fluids (e.g. blood, vomit, saliva, etc).
We remove content related to selling/buying/trading/donating/gifting hazardous materials.

We remove content related to activity facilitating the financial or personal gain of a third-party or entity through:
Investment or financial scams:
Loan scams.
Advance fee scams.
Gambling scams.
Ponzi or pyramid schemes.
Money or cash flips or money muling.
Investment scams with promise of high rates of return.
Inauthentic identity scams:
Charity scams.
Romance or impersonation scams.
Establishment of false businesses or entities.
Product or rewards scams:
Grant and benefits scams.
Tangible, spiritual or illuminati scams.
Insurance scams, including ghost broking.
Fake jobs, or work-from-home or get-rich-quick scams.
Debt relief or credit repair scams.
We remove content related to stolen goods, information or services.
We remove content related to fraudulent documentation, such as:
Fake or counterfeit money.
Forged educational & professional certificates.
Money laundering.

Violence in video games

WeShop will review content that depicts violence/threat/gore/weapons when shown as part of a video game preview. Content that receives a significant number of reports may be flagged as unpopular by the community and removed.

Drug paraphernalia

WeShop will review content that depicts drug paraphernalia, content may be removed if the context is deemed inappropriate for the rest of the WeShop community.

Information or research

WeShop will review the context of dangerous & criminal activity when shown as part of research or information, for example, posting a book about Adolf Hitler may be seen as insensitive & will be reviewed.

Bloody/graphic content

WeShop will review the context of bloody/graphic content when shown in a non-violent way, for example, a post related to medical use that shows the benefits of the product but show a noticeable amount of blood may be flagged & removed.

Use of slang/inside jokes/nicknames

Our Content Review Team are aware of common slang & derogatory terms for a variety of topics, and will reserve the right to remove content that contains any form of slang (e.g. 'MDMA has a street name of Mandy'). The Content Review team will attempt to remove all content that breaks our Community Guidelines, but, we're also aware that modern slang changes by region and new phrases are being used everyday.

Our Content Review Team will also review cases where an inside joke is shared between members that might break our Community Guidelines. Remember, WeShop is for everyone to enjoy.
